Often relating to topical or current issues in world art and culture, the Sainsbury Centreís courses and conferences link the public to the academic work of the University.
The Sainsbury Centre has pioneered a research-based approach to collaborative and reflective practice in museums and art galleries, and works with partners from many specialist subject areas.
Each year the Sainsbury Centre works in partnership and collaboration with schools, artists, teachers and/or other museum educators on outreach projects.
The Sainsbury Centreís regular series of informal gallery talks and discussions encourage you to think beyond whatís in front of your eyes.
This Foster-designed facility at the heart of the Crescent Wing opened in 2006, enabling the Sainsbury Centre to make more links between making and viewing art.
